Three people were sent to the hospital in Arlington after a rollover accident involving an SUV and another vehicle on I-30. The SUV rolled over after colliding with the Sedan and three people were taken to nearby hospitals with serious injuries. The crash also shut down the highway’s westbound lanes.

In East Fort Worth, Texas a head-on collision took the life of one man and injured two others. A man driving his GMC pickup truck slammed into another pickup injuring the two occupants while he died at the scene. It was not known what caused the man to travel into the path of the second vehicle.

A 19-year-old Fort Worth teen was killed on Christmas Eve when her vehicle rolled over on North Beach St and Old Denton Rd. The vehicle she was driving landed on top of her after she was ejected, causing her death. The cause of her losing control of her vehicle was not known.

A young child succumbed to his injuries from a fatal crash in Sabine County that took the life of his mother and the driver of their SUV. Two days before his death, he had been traveling in the SUV with the two adults when the vehicle hydroplaned, landing into oncoming traffic. The five-year-old child and his family had moved to the area just days before the fatal crash. He had been airlifted to Houston’s Texas Children’s Hospital but was removed from life-support two days later.

Two young girls are orphaned after their parents were killed on the side of the road in Ferris, attempting to change the flat tire on their vehicle. They were on their way to a family night at the local drive-in theatre when they received the flat. A 23-year-old woman, suspected of driving while intoxicated, was placed into custody on a $1.5 million bond. The children were unhurt.

A crash in Fort Worth, Texas took the life of an infant and three adults when the car they were riding in veered into oncoming traffic and was then hit by a pickup truck. A third vehicle was rear-ended in the crash but the driver was not injured. It is still undetermined what caused the white Honda Civic, carrying the infant and other children, to drive into oncoming traffic. Police reported the two adults in the front of the vehicle had died before they arrived on scene. The children, including the infant and other adults in the crash, were airlifted to two hospitals.

Dallas off-duty firefighter crashed into a Mazda SUV when he was speeding on US-67 near Belt Line Road, killing an 18-year-old pregnant woman and her unborn child. The 21-year-old father of the child was a passenger in the Mazda and survived the crash, sustaining a broken neck and leg. The child, a boy, was delivered by doctors at the hospital but lived only a few moments before succumbing to his injuries. The firefighter was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The MedStar ambulance service in Fort Worth responded to a staggering 10 roll-over accidents within the span of 24 hrs on December 16, blaming the weather, and lack of observance to potential driving hazards heavy rain creates as part of the reason.

A mother and her 1-year-old child were injured in South Dallas a few days after Christmas when a female driver drove her car into the house occupied by the mother and her children. Two other children were at home at the time but were not injured. The driver fled the scene of the accident and was not identified at the time of the crash. Both mother and child recovered.
